Day 14: On Divine Alignment.
I saw a post on LinkedIn the other day that spurred me into writing this piece. The author talked about how a lot of the things that had happened for her, events that were seemingly regular, were divinely orchestrated. She described how a lunch date with a friend led to a work opportunity. And how a chat at an event led her to find her co-founder. As someone who has experienced series of divine alignment my whole life, I am inclined to agree with her.
I am religious- Christian, and so I believe that we walk a spiritual path as we do a physical one. I believe that as it is depicted throughout scriptures, the earth communicates with the heavens.
In her article-Oh, Heaven, Eloghosa Osunde said as much in this phrase “I know that every person has a spirit- whether they are awake to it or not- and our spirits have agency, so that we can co-create our realities with God’’.
Think about it, what are the odds that the things that come to you, came specifically for you in the way and manner that you needed it to be. Regardless of whatever you call it- luck, law of attraction, manifestation- it is definitely beyond the physical, it’s the divine.
And so now, whenever I pray to God, I ask that I am aligned with His will for my life and I see this prayer manifested. I recognize that humans have the tendency of attributing good things alone to God and somehow explain away the bad. But I have come to a conclusion in my faith walk that all things work together for the good of they that love the Lord. I love the Lord, so all things work for my good- whether good or bad. I have come to a place in my faith walk where I give thanks to God in ALL things because He’s able to make bad out of good and good out of bad.
All I’m trying to say is divine alignment is not a myth, it’s real. I’ve been a recipient time and time again. I know people who have experienced divine alignment. I am sure that if you looked whithin, you would also find that you share a similar story. I have seen how my mundane interactions on social media leads me to an opportunity I’ve been seeking, or how I’ll desire clarity on a subject in my heart and I’m pleasantly surprised when a friend unknowingly brings that clarity that I sought.
My path has been and still is divinely orchestrated by Abba and I know that if you lean into him, if you lean into the divine; you too will be able to co-create your reality with God.
