I do very much like the idea of love, and currently, being surrounded by some of my friends experiencing what I’d like to label as “easy love” makes me pine even harder. I see the way they (un)consciously reach for each other in public and private; how easy it is for them to communicate and listen to each other in conversations and arguments; how they wear each other’s pair of Crocs; how they look at each other like there’s no one else in the room, in the world; how they genuinely care for each other like it’s a sixth sense; how they feel safe knowing they have a partner in every sense of the word.
